Current Situation of Water Issue

Nothing in this world is possible without water.  It is essential 1 for all of us. Nowadays people are struggling for water and scarcity is increasing day by day. The people don't have water even to fulfil their daily activities. We have elected our leaders to govern us but they are concentrating on their family members and their billionaires. They always concentrate on the profit instead of doing service. “It is only for the water if there would be third world war” said the poet Mr. Vairamuthu. People are coming to the streets, because of the scarcity of water. If we go through the last week's newspaper there are no pages without the issue of water. People from neighbouring state can understand our need of water. For example Mr. Pranab Vijayan, the chief minister of Kerala came forward to give 20, 00,000 litres of water for satisfying the needs of the people. But we already know that what our government did. First our minister rejected their help but when the issue was spreading in the media our government came forward to accept the help of neighbouring state. Our government is best in politics however it makes politics when a person comes forward to help one another. This was the situation when there was flood in Chennai. At the same time we can identify the cause of flood every lake has become buildings and factories and there is no place to store water in Chennai. In Tamil Nadu people on the harm are struggling for water.  On the other side some corporates are taking hydrocarbon in order to get profit. For that they are taking all the groundwater and instead of that they are inserting some chemical waters to destroy the land. There are many people fighting against this issue but the media never focus on them. There were many leaders ruling us and among them Mr. Kamaraj the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was the only one to build the dams to store water. Apart from him nobody worries about us. Every year the government allots crores and crores for the betterment of the dams. But we don't know what they are doing with the amount. If they use the money properly the Cauvery Bridge would not have broken last year. At the same time last year the Cauvery Dam was opened to save the water for the people but the government has shown the irresponsible way of wasting the water to mingle in the sea. Today all the parties of Tamil Nadu are taking this issue of water for politics. The central government imposes some injustices behind this issue namely hydrocarbon, new education polices, etc. It is our responsibility to take initiative to save water.

Dear friends it is our responsibility to understand the value of water. We should be aware that we should not waste the water. In our seminary we will be rushing with one bucket of water if there is no water. But we will have 3 or 4 buckets of water if we have more water.

Dear brothers we must save water at the same time we should also make people to understand the value of water in the ministry places. “An action is more valuable than speaking many words” said by Vivekananda. We don't have enough rain because of lack of trees so we will plant a tree after this English Academy on behalf of the director of the English Academy the secretary and all of us in order to make our word into action.
